Below is a list of common blue screen error messages you see on Windows based machines.

- Bad RAM, Driver, or Video Card. Use Memtest86 to test RAM. Use BlueScreenView to determine which specific driver DLL is crashing. If it's nvidia or ati/amd DLL files, update your video card drivers or swap the video card.

- BAD_POOL_HEADER
- Bad RAM, corrupted driver (CD-ROM, Scanner, Virtual CD ROM), or poorly coded software trying to access the internet.

- PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
- Bad RAM, Bad Video Card. Sometimes corrupted NTFS Volume. Use chkdsk /R and Memtest to diagnose.

- Almost always a failed hard drive with bad blocks.
